Directions & Parking
Free parking is available in the large parking lot directly behind the theatre. Entrance to this lot is available via Third Street or off of Park Avenue West underneath the bridge on the east side of the Theatre. Please do not park in the Park Hospitality and Cancun Tacos and Margaritas Lot.
An additional RPA lot is located across Third Street between the Sons of Italy and Harmony House. Additional street parking is available along Park Avenue and Third Street.
Bag Checks & Prohibited Items
The Renaissance may inspect bags and cases at points of entry. The following items are not permitted. Please leave them in your car or at home.
- Backpacks and other large bags (diaper bags are permitted but may be inspected upon entry)
- Professional Cameras or photography equipment (unless authorized by event management)
- Audio and/or video recorders of any kind
- Weapons of any kind including firearms, knives, tasers, etc.
- Illegal drugs or paraphernalia
- Fireworks or incendiary devices of any kind
- Harmful chemicals such as mace, pepper spray, etc.
- Posters or large signs
- Selfie sticks
- Noise Making Devices
- Animals that do not provide a service or task as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act
- Outside food and beverages
- Laser pointer
- In accordance with Ohio’s “concealed carry” law and the right for private entities to ban handguns on their premises, firearms and other weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden at The Renaissance. Only on-duty law enforcement officials are permitted to possess or carry a firearm on the premises.
Concessions
Enjoy a variety of candy and drinks with fresh-popped popcorn from our Concession Stand. Or visit the bar where we feature mixed drinks and a variety of domestic and craft beers by the Phoenix Brewing Company and a selection of wine from Cypress Hill Winery both located here in Mansfield, Ohio.
Accessibility
The Renaissance Theatre prioritizes wheelchair accessibility, offering accessible seating, designated parking, and elevator access to the upper and lower lobbies and the auditorium. Simply notify the box office when purchasing your tickets to reserve accessible seating. Our ushers are always happy to help assist you to your seat. Restrooms include handicap accessibility, with additional family restrooms on the first floor. We are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.
Mamava Lactation Pod
Mamava lactation pods provide a private, comfortable space for breastfeeding parents to pump or nurse. The Mamava lactation pod is located in the lobby next to the Family Bathroom.
Use the Mamava app to open the pod with the touch of a button! For easy access, download the free Mamava app. If you are unable to access the app, access to the Mamava Pod is also available through request at the box office.

- Rand Smith Auditorium—Our historic 1,400-seat theatre is perfect for large-scale productions, speaker series, and live performances. Rentals include customizable options such as ticketing services, staffing, technical support, concessions, and bar service.
- Ghostlight Lounge—Located beneath the Renaissance lobby, this speakeasy-style lounge includes a private bar and piano, making it ideal for receptions, cocktail hours, and social events with up to 75 guests in a stylish, atmospheric setting.
- Theatre 166—A 120-seat black box theatre located just west of the main venue. With full sound and lighting capabilities, it’s a flexible space perfect for smaller performances, meetings, and creative events.
- Additional Spaces—The Renaissance also offers unique rental areas including our elegant Ballroom (up to 80 guests), Lower Lobby (up to 200), and Bridge (up to 50), each with their own charm and flexibility.
