Where Creativity Meets Community
Every performance, every class, and every experience at the Renaissance Theatre is fueled by one purpose: to inspire creativity, connect people, and help our community thrive.
This year, we shine a spotlight on one of the most powerful ways we live out our mission—through our education programming. From acting classes to student performances, sensory-friendly workshops to Link Up with Carnegie Hall, we’re helping young people discover confidence, creativity, and connection through the arts.
Your gift to the Renaissance Performing Arts Annual Campaign helps ensure these programs are accessible to all, regardless of background or income. Together, we’re building the next generation of artists, dreamers, leaders, and bold thinkers.
Join us. Inspire. Connect. Thrive.
Where creativity begins, confidence follows.
Inspiration is at the heart of everything we do. At the Renaissance, we believe that when young people are given the opportunity to explore their creativity, they begin to see the world—and themselves—differently.
Take Cassandra Kurek. What began as a nervous audition for a Mansfield Youth Theatre production turned into a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Through the Renaissance’s education programs, Cassandra found her voice, her confidence, and a lifelong love for the arts—eventually becoming Miss Teen Ohio.
Now a college student, Cassandra returns to the Ren to help lead Broadway Camps and Teddy Bear Concerts, inspiring the next generation of performers to step boldly into the spotlight.
When we invest in the creativity of our youth, we create a ripple effect of confidence, courage, and community leadership. That’s the power of Inspire.

Where belonging leads to becoming.
At the Renaissance, we know that the arts don’t just build performers—they build connection. Through shared experiences, collaborative creativity, and moments of vulnerability, young people form lasting bonds with their peers, mentors, and themselves.
For parent Heather Tsavaris, the Renaissance has been more than a theatre—it’s been a second home for her children. Through performances, rehearsals, and camps, her kids have found friendships, support, and the space to grow into who they’re meant to be.
In a world that often feels disconnected, the Ren helps young people feel seen, valued, and part of something bigger than themselves.
Connection is the foundation of community—and the heart of everything we do.

Where access to the arts builds brighter futures.
Thriving means more than surviving—it means growing, dreaming, and stepping fully into possibility. At the Renaissance, we believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive through access to meaningful arts education.
Through programs like Link Up with Carnegie Hall, field trips, Broadway Camps, and sensory-friendly performances, we help students explore new ideas, build empathy, and develop critical life skills—all while nurturing joy and curiosity.
When the arts are part of a child’s development, they gain more than technical skills. They grow into imaginative, expressive, and resilient individuals—ready to shape the future.
This is why we do what we do—so every student has the opportunity not just to participate, but to truly thrive.
