Mary comes to the Renaissance Theatre from the Mansfield Convention & Visitor's Bureau. She began working at the Renaissance in January 2010. A native of Toledo, Ohio, Mary moved to the Mansfield area in 1988 as her husband, Ray, had been relocated to Mansfield with People's Drug, now CVS. Before working at the CVB, she is a former Customer Service Rep at Key Bank on Lexington Avenue and Secretary/Administrative Assistant at Barnes Pumps/Crane Pumps & Systems in the sales office, which has now moved all facilities to Piqua, Ohio.
Mary and Ray have 2 sons, Doug and Brian and were introduced to the Renaissance Theatre when Doug became a member of the Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra as a Freshman at Lexington High School. He was a 2 time winner of the Concerto Competition in both his Sophomore and Senior years performing on the trumpet. Brian followed in his footsteps and was also a member of the Youth Orchestra for 4 years. Mary, along with Ray, Doug and Brian, being a family of trumpet players and members of St. Peter's Church, join with the St. Peter's Choir during the Easter and Christmas Eve liturgies. Both Doug and Brian have married and have joined the choirs in their respective parishes and continue to use their musical talents.
Mary and Ray are grandparents to 3 beautiful little girls, 1 handsome baby boy and a grand puppy named Banjo! How appropriate for a musical family! The Galuzny family enjoys attending various events at the Renaissance and appreciates its wonderful history and beauty. This theatre is truly a gift Mansfield has for the community and surrounding areas. Working at the Ren is a great opportunity to stay in touch with the community while providing assistance and information to the patrons of the theatre.
