Barb's Favorite Song: Very hard to choose a favorite song but it would probably be something by the Beatles...choices are endless! I also love good jazz, the soundtracks from Out of Africa and Dances with Wolves, Barbra Streisand, Luther Vandross's The Night I Fell in Love CD, and Il Divo...- Barb's favorite place to travel: I loved traveling to Hawaii when I visited my daughter and her family who were lucky enough to live there for three years. If I could take off today for any place in the world it would be to the Tuscany region of Italy for the scenery, food, wine and that "magical" Tuscany light.
- Barb's favorite show at the Renaissance: I have lots of favorite shows at The Renaissance. Broadway favorite would be I Can't Stop Loving You. The talent and energy in this musical review of the life of Ray Charles was fantastic. Of course since I have loved The Manhattan Transfer since the 1970's, seeing them from the front row was thrilling.

Barb has worked in marketing at The Renaissance since May of 2000. She is responsible for getting the word out to the public about all the events coming to The Renaissance Theatre through news releases, direct mail, email blasts, newspaper, website, radio, TV and every type of new media that pops up in this ever changing world. Each type of event requires a marketing plan that fits with the type of entertainment offered. "This constant exploration to find the right marketing fit for each show and audience allows my job to remain exciting and challenging. Never a dull moment at The Renaissance!" she says. In the past she has worked in insurance "boring", local government "bureaucracy", and for a tire and rubber company "a dirty business". She feels this is by far the best and most fun job she has ever had in my working career!
