The Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra was first organized in 1982 with the primary purpose of establishing an outlet for outstanding instrumental music students.
The MSYO is comprised of over 100 student musicians, primarily from grades 9 through 12, representing Richland, Ashland, Wayne, Marion, Knox, Crawford and Holmes counties. For information on the MSYO program please contact Chelsie Thompson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition to two formal concerts each year, the group also performs four free "Lollipop" concerts in area schools. Auditions for the Youth Orchestra will be held on June 10, 11 and 12, 2014.
