INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT PLAN

THE RPA INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT PLAN MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide the funding of the RPA resulting in no debt and a net surplus to endow and perpetuate the RPA.

THE 2011-2014 RPA INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT PLAN GOALS ARE:

 

The 2011-2014 RPA Institutional Advancement Plan revenue-development strategy is a two-fold goal:

  1. Maintain, grow, and annualize the base of revenues and support of the RPA.
  2. Create new opportunities for developing new income sources in all categories of income for the RPA.

 

THE RPA 2011-2014 INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT PLAN OBJECTIVES ARE:

  1. Boost revenues a minimum of 30% by 2014.
  2. Recruit and maintain new major partners/sponsors/presenters.
  3. Create, expand, and maintain the new In-Kind Gifts Program to attract not only individuals but also partners/sponsors/presenters.
  4. Put in place an active, strong volunteer annual fund structure, the RPA Development Council, to manage and maintain the campaign for generating and maintaining the funding for the RPA.
  5. Annualize actual funding.
  6. Have the RPA funding in place prior to each season.
  7. Annually receive 100% financial support from the "RPA Family" - Board, Staff, and Volunteers.
  8. Continue the investment, ownership and participation of former RPA Board members and officers through the RPA Advisory Board.
  9. In 2011 put in place and maintain a RPA Planned Gifts Program to generate a new RPA Endowment Fund through 2011-2014 and beyond.

 

THE RPA 2011-2014 INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT PLAN PROGRAMS, ACTIVITIES, POLICIES AND STRUCTURES ARE:

  • RPA Development Program Pyramid and Donor Advancement Factors.
  • The 2011-2014 Gifts and Benefits Program and Activities which will be in place and maintained through 2014 and beyond.
  • The 2011-2014 RPA Other Sources of Income Programs and Activities will be in place and maintained through 2011-2014 and beyond.
  • The RPA Development Council which will be in place and maintained through 2011-2014 and beyond to manage and maintain the generating of sufficient funding for the RPA.
  • The RPA Development Policies as approved by the Board of Trustees will be maintained in 2011-2014 and beyond.
  • The RPA Board of Trustees Role, Function, Criteria, and Words of Wisdom, and Statement of Expectations are already in place and in use for recruitment of new Board members.
  • The RPA Board of Trustees Annual Fund Campaign Prospect List is already in place and in use.
