Improv Olympics

The Renaissance is proud to be partnering with Kulture Kids to host the 2010 Improv Olympics, a state-wide improvisation competition for high school age students, on April 18. 

To register your team for the competition, please review the Improv Application Packet & Frequently Asked Questions 2010 (the following pdf file).  You will need to:
     a. Submit an application form for each team
     b. Submit a parent/guardian permission form and emergency contact sheet for each team member.
     c. Submit a $20 fee for each team (checks made out to the Renaissance Theatre).

In spring 2009, the Renaissance sponsored three teams of high school students to compete in Kulture Kids' Improv Olympics at the Cleveland Play House.  Teams proudly came home with a silver and a gold medal.

The Renaissance will be conducting training sessions for individuals looking to join an improv team and/or teams already formed who want to compete.  Training sessions will meet every Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM starting on January 20, 2010 at the Renaissance Theatre.
